Hi, my name is Joshua Wheeler and this is my blog. I suppose you could say I’m your typical 25 year old “Gen Yer” who, at the start of it, thought it’d be cool to manage a website and learn a little about web development on the side… As well as practice my writing out of college… but hey! that’s only half of it…

This blog/website has undergone many transformations, locations, and covered a plethora of different subjects. This is because I generally like to pontificate out in the open– And what better an outlet then a weblog, no? Right…

So the current focus of “my blog” lately is to write about my newest adventure of living abroad in the small town of Mutsu, Japan in Aomori Prefecture (Mutsu.. “moo-suu” is a small town on the island of Honshu, just North of nowhere). My job is to do my best to help Elementary School Teachers teach an English curriculum to children ages 6-12. However, because the Japanese Education Ministry hasn’t quite set a permanent official curriculum yet, this task can be quite challenging (and humous) at times, but I enjoy the challenge and it makes for some great stories.

This year, and in the years to follow, I hope to bring those stories and more to anyone who has a second to read them…
